Gov. Rick Scott and Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer joined executives for the grand opening of the Siemens Wind Turbine Service Training Center, Thursday, in Orlando. The 40,000-square-foot training facility, the only of its kind in North and South America, will provide full-size models of the giant turbines and towers to train an anticipated 2,400 tower technicians annually. Siemens other training centers are located in Newcastle, United Kingdom; Bremen, Germany, and Brande, Denmark.
