Ciara Hopkins, 11, trains for the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. She became the youngest competitor to ever complete the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco on June 8, finishing the race in 3 hours, 4 minutes, 48 seconds. Hopkins, who lives in Clermont and attends Montverde Academy, was third among girls 16-and-under.
