Jesse Owens

Jesse Owens became a mythical figure when he left spike marks all over Hitler at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. But Owens's best athletic day came a year earlier at the Big Ten championship meet. He set world records in the long jump, 220-yard dash and 200-yard low hurdles. He also got fourth in the 100-meter dash. And he did it all in less than 70 minutes.
