Tiger Woods acknowledges the crowd on the 18th green during the final round of play of the 1997 Masters Golf Tournament at the Augusta National Golf Club. At 21, Woods became the youngest Masters Champion and first African American to win the prestigous tournament. He finished 18-under-par and broke the scoring record held by Jack Nicklaus and Ray Floyd.
