<b>Finally getting a championship game.</b>  The conference realignments of 2003 allowed Conference USA to do something it wanted to do years before: stage a football championship game. Unlike other leagues, C-USA wants to guarantee fan support so it plays the title games on home sites. The first game was in 2005 in <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100410140000" title="Orlando" href="/topic/us/florida/orange-county-%28florida%29/orlando-PLGEO100100410140000.topic">Orlando</a> when UCF hosted Tulsa at the Florida <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLREC000055" title="Florida Citrus Bowl" href="/topic/sports/football/florida-citrus-bowl-PLREC000055.topic">Citrus Bowl</a>.
