Joan Loughman

A grandmother and Girl Scout volunteer, Joan Loughman of <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100201040000" title="Danbury" href="/topic/us/connecticut/fairfield-county/danbury-PLGEO100100201040000.topic">Danbury</a>, Conn., was in Florida searching for an assisted living facility for her ailing father. After meeting Andrew Gosciminski, she chose Lyford Cove in Fort Pierce, where Gosciminski was the marketing director. The day before she was to return to Connecticut, Loughman was found murdered at her father's Hutchinson Island home. Gosciminski was later charged with her murder.
