Last Season: 11-5, 8-4 division Playoffs: Lost to Patriots in second round Stat Leaders: QB Matt Schaub (4,008 YDS, 22 TDS, 12 INTS); RB Arian Foster (1,424 YDS, 15 TDS); WR Andre Johnson (1,598 YDS, 4 TDS); S Glover Quin (84 TACKLES, 1 SACK) The Buzz: Matt Schaub is a capable game manager with a strong arm, but he is not a mobile quarterback and didn't score any rushing touchdowns last season. Schaub's limitations make star running back Arian Foster even more valuable to the franchise. Andre Johnson is Schaub's preferred target and returns to the lineup, but he has had injury issues. Should Johnson miss any time, former Clemson receiver DeAndre Hopkins could take on a bigger role in the Texans' offense. Houston is expected to field a strong pass defense despite the loss of safety Glover Quin to Detroit, with J.J. Watt and Ed Reed putting heavy pressure up front. Luck Factor: Houston fans are lucky they chose to back the Texans rather than the Dallas Cowboys. While the Cowboys have struggled the past few years, Houston has quietly built the Lone Star State's strongest franchise.
