Last Season: 10-6, 3-3 division Playoffs: Missed the postseason Stat Leaders: QB Jay Cutler (3,033 YDS, 19 TDS, 14 INTS); RB Matt Forte (1,094 YDS, 5 TDS); WR Brandon Marshall (1,508 YDS, 11 TDS); LB Lance Briggs (103 TACKLES, 1.5 SACKS) The Buzz: Jay Cutler nearly had more interceptions than touchdowns last season, an indicator of how much he has struggled in Chicago to make sound decisions under pressure. It didn't help that the Bears' offensive line struggled last year, allowing 44 sacks. Cutler has an elite target in Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall, the former UCF star who previously played alongside Cutler in Denver. Bears coach Marc Trestman is counting on RB Matt Forte, Cutler and Marshall to help the offense thrive. Trestman has put an emphasis on the offensive attack, a dramatic shift for a franchise that has traditionally leaned on its defense. Lance Briggs , who has had his share of off-the-field issues during his tenure, must continue to perform at a high level. Luck Factor: It will take luck replacing Pro Bowl LB Brian Urlacher, an elite leader on and off the field who retired.
