Florida's Worst Natural Disasters: Hurricane Andrew

In August 1992, the Carrero family and neighbors pool their supplies for breakfast after Hurricane Andrew hit. By the time Hurricane Andrew finally dissipated at the end of August 1992, it had become the costliest hurricane in United States history with $26.5 billion in damage and 65 total deaths (26 direct, 39 indirect).
