Strengths:  Star guard George Beamon, a pro prospect, leads Manhattan with 19.2 points per game  and came through when the team needed him most during the conference tournament. The Jaspers have won 14 of their past 16 games and earned an 86-68 win at South Carolina earlier this season. Manhattan topped rival Iona to earn its first NCAA Tournament bid since 2004. <br><br>
Weaknesses: Beamon has been sidelined with a variety of injuries during the past two seasons. If he runs into any issues during the tournament, the Jaspers will have trouble keeping up with other teams.  Manhattan entered the final week of the regular season ranked No. 174 in the country in scoring defense, allowing 70.1 ppg.
