With their second of three first-round picks in 1998, the Orlando Magic selected Nevada-Las Vegas forward/center Keon Clark with the No. 13 pick. Orlando never signed Clark. Instead, his draft rights were traded by the Magic with forward Johnny Taylor to the Denver Nuggets for a first-round pick in the 1999 NBA draft in January 1999.
