Courtney Alexander, playing for the Wizards years after the Orlando Magic drafted him

Guard Courtney Alexander (left) was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the No. 13 pick in the 2000 draft, but his rights were traded to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for a future first-round pick and future considerations. In 2001, when he was playing for the Washington Wizards, Alexander ended up guarding the Magic's Tracy McGrady -- who Orlando was able to acquire in free agency in August 2000 because they traded two of their three first-round picks in June to leave them enough space under the salary cap.
