Joshua Phillips

Joshua Phillips, 14, is led Nov. 11, 1998, to his arraignment in a <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100101018611235" title="Jacksonville (Duval, Florida)" href="/topic/us/florida/duval-county/jacksonville-%28duval-florida%29-PLGEO100101018611235.topic">Jacksonville</a>, Fla. court for the murder of 8-year-old Madlyn Clifton. Police said Phillips stabbed Clifton nine times in the body and twice in the neck and hit her in the head with a baseball bat shortly after she disappeared on Nov. 3. Phillips was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Phillip's mother  had found Maddie's body in the frame of his water bed.
