Fantasy Fest 2009 in Key West

Jim Cozzi of Key West, Fla., costumed himself to resemble his 9-year-old blue-and-gold macaw, Bob, for the Fantasy Fest Pet Masquerade held Wednesday, Oct. 28, in Key West. More than 80 pet-and-person entrants competed in front of some 1,500 spectators in the Pet Masquerade, a highlight of Key West's 10-day Fantasy Fest costuming and masking festival. The wacky event continues through Sunday, Nov. 1, and is to be highlighted by a Halloween night parade down Duval Street, the island's main thoroughfare.
