Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo is the world's second-biggest carbonated soft-drink maker, after longtime rival Coca-Cola Co. Its soft-drink brands include Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Mug; it also sells Tropicana orange-juice brands, Gatorade sports drink, SoBe tea, and Aquafina water. The company (stock-ticker symbol PEP) also owns Frito-Lay, the world's biggest snack-food maker, with brands such as Lay's, Ruffles, Doritos, and Fritos; and its Quaker Foods unit offers breakfast cereals and side dishes. Last year, the company acquired its two largest bottlers, Pepsi Bottling Group and PepsiAmericas. It has a Frito-Lay plant in Orlando, a Gatorade plant in Kissimmee, and local bottling operations.
