Sentinel staff

David Archuleta: The American Idol runner-up (he lost to David Cook in 2008) returns to his Florida roots with this opening gig. The 18-year-old was born in Miami and is currently promoting his self-titled album, which is approaching 1 million sales worldwide. American Idol wasn't Archuleta's first stab at reality television; he also won a junior competition on Star Search. His initial single, "Crush," gave him the momentum toward his first Billboard Top 40 hit with "Imagine." This is his first non-American Idol tour.

Jordan Pruitt: The 18-year-old Disney star is riding the popularity of "One Love" off her new album, Permission to Fly. "One Love" has been a top request on Radio Disney across the country. The Georgia native has opened for the Cheetah Girls, Vanessa Hudgens and High School Musical: The Concert.
