Researchers with Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission go into woods in <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100405000000" title="Lake County (Florida)" href="/topic/us/florida/lake-county-%28florida%29-PLGEO100100405000000.topic">Lake County</a> to check on cubs. The animals, which were briefly removed from their den, were measured, weighed, had their age estimated by hair and ear length and had a microchip implanted in them.
