10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Opening session

8:30-11 p.m. : Primetime speeches by:Gov. George Pataki
President George W. Bush

For the delegates

  • Tours of historic sites including Coney Island, King Manor New York Harbor, Federal Hall, lower Manhattan, and Republican landmarks Protests Boston-to-New York Stonewalk arrives in New York City. Hosted by September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, participants pulled a 1,400 pound granite slab from Boston to New York. Not In Our Name is slated to hold an evening rally at a yet to be announced location. One Peoples Project to hold a party in the evening at Tompkins Square Park. Parties 8 a.m. - noon - History Channel breakfast saluting "New York City History Day" at Gracie Mansion. 4 p.m. - Republican Jewish Coalition presents "Victory 2004 Celebration" at Noche , 1604 Broadway. 5 - 7p.m. New York Delegation Reception at Madame Tussaud's, 234 West 42nd Street. 6 - p.m. - 8 p.m. - Fast Company hosts John McCain at Elaine's, 1703 Second Avenue. 10 p.m. -2 a.m. - Post-Convention Party sponsored by Novartis at the Water Club, 500 East 30th Street on the East River. 11 p.m. - 3 a.m. - Wrap Party hosted by Patton Boggs LLP and Bristol-Myers Squibb with special guest Ben Ginsberg at Avalon, 20th Street at Sixth Avenue. 11 p.m. -2 a.m. – "Next Generation of Leaders" hosted by Emma Bloomberg, Emily Pataki, Taylor Whitman with guests Jenna and Barbara Bush. At Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway. After party, hosted by Woody Johnson and the New York Jets, Time Warner Center. After party- NRCC honors Chairman Tom Reynolds and the NY delegation Time Warner Center.
