The EROS Film Festival, a student-run stepchild of the Connecticut Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, returns to the accommodating confines of Trinity College's Cinestudio this month with eight LGBT films. The offerings are as multicultural as they are open-minded, with films from Iran, Uganda, Italy and the U.S. Head over Friday evening for the Italian-language Loose Cannons (pictured), a film about the youngest, gay son of a traditional family deeply involved in the pasta-making industry.
14th EROS Film Festival
ends Nov. 11, Cinestudio at Trinity College, 300 Summit St., Hartford, (860) 297-2463, cinestudio.org.
