Center for Film Studies at Wesleyan University in Middletown Presents Two Matthew Barney Films

Film nerds rejoice: Yale grad Matthew Barney, who won the Guggenheim Museum's first Hugo Boss Award, appears in his own experimental films in a variety of guises. Wesleyan's Center For Film Studies presents two of Barney's films — Cremaster 4 (1994) from his five-part Cremaster cycle and Drawing Restraint 10 (2005), in which the filmmaker jumps on a trampoline that's been tilted on an angle — on Tuesday evening.

Film Screening: Matthew Barney's Cremaster 4 (1994) and Drawing Restraint 10 (2005), Sept. 27, 7:30 p.m., free, Powell Family Cinema, Center for Film Studies, Wesleyan University, 301 Washington Terrace, Middletown, (860) 685-3542,
