Playing in some of the last matches of his career at the Milford Jai Alai, Wayne Pattie reaches for the Pelota (the ball used in Jai Alai) and whips it back at the wall with his Cesta. Though the term Jai Alai comes from the Basque region of Spain, and means merry festival, players and fans alike are not celebrating the Fronton's closure.
