( Summit Entertainment ) The penultimate installment of the Stephenie Meyer books had "Twi-hards" flocking to the box office to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's Edward and Bella get hitched and, well, consummate their marriage. Photos of the film's highly anticipated bedroom scene leaked early, causing a kerfuffle at Summit Entertainment but piquing far more interest in the film. The steamy vampire sex scene didn't make the final cut in theaters, but that didn't stop fans from flocking to the movies, helping maintain the film's No. 1 status at the box office for three consecutive weeks. |
