Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush will return to Indianapolis for the first time since the Indiana State Fair tragedy.  Sugarland fans have already started lining up at the Conseco Fieldhouse in anticipation for Friday night’s concert.

Several fans have lined up as early as 5 a.m. to get inside Conseco.  Fox59 spoke to people waiting at Coseco Friday morning who were injured in the stage collapse.  Some of the victims told Fox59 Friday’s concert would not bring closure, but it was a good start.  They also said they wanted to attend the concert to show their support for other injured.

Other fans passed the time waiting by creating signs for the concert. Fox59 spoke with fans who were creating a special homemade flag, which was signed by State Fair victims.

Sugarland was set to perform at the Indiana State Fair on August 13, before weather conditions caused the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand to collapse.  Seven individuals died and several others were injured as a result.

Friday’s concert is the final stop of Sugarland’s 2011 Incredible Machine Tour and will begin at 7:30 p.m. Singer-songwriter Corey Cox, from the small Indiana town of Markleville, will be the opening act.
