Lori Keen, 32, leaves behind family including a husband and a daughter.  The Franklin woman was hurt March 15th while working in the stock area of the Franklin Kroger. Keen died this weekend after being taken off life support.  She was working with a pallet jack that's used to move large quantities of bundled groceries.  Keen was seriously injured by a pallet of bottled water.  Kroger says their investigation and one being conducted by IOSHA are not yet complete.

"We're obviously focused on what happened and is there something that needs to be done is there something that we can learn from that incident but you know we are a very, very safety-conscious company," said  Kroger spokesman John Elliott.

Industry experts tell us the pallets can hold for example 72 boxes of water with 24 bottles in each box.  That would mean approximately 1700 water bottles hit her.  Kroger says Keen was taking in a shipment from a vendor who was using the store's loading dock.  The union that represents workers at the store sent FOX 59 a statement regarding what they call a tragic accident.
