McMahon, some of his former player friends and celebrities talked live to the Hoosier soldiers via a satellite link made possible by Fox59. The Indiana National Guardsmen and women were happy to field a few questions because they knew the money raised from the room full of VIP's was going to help wounded soldiers, marines and their families.
"We can't have any alcohol so if you drink a beer for us that would be great just be sure you tip your wait staff," a soldier responded.
"I have always had a fondness for the military and I have been working with them for 25 years now and it's been great," said McMahon.
Also on the invite list at the Rathskeler, Hall of Fame coach Mike Ditka and former kicker Morten Andersen. Entertainers included singers Neil McCoy and Kyle Turley.
McMahon's Swang 'n' Super Bowl Charity Bash is an annual event.
