INDIANAPOLIS—Award-winning television journalist, and former NBC anchor Jane Pauley will return to Indianapolis to deliver the undergraduate commencement address May 1st at the University of Indianapolis.
Pauley graduated from Warren Central High school. She was the co-host of NBC's "Today Show" from 1976 to 1989. She later anchored "Dateline" NBC for more than a decade. Pauley has been honored with several Emmy Awards for her work, along with the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for Outstanding Achievement, the RTNDA's Paul White Award for lifetime contribution to electronic journalism and the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism.
In 2004, Pauley published her memoir, "Skywriting: A Life Out of the Blue." She is a highly regarded advocate in the fields of mental health, children's health and education.
