TEXAS—A former Indianapolis man is scheduled to be executed Thursday night in Texas.
Joshua Maxwell and his girlfriend were convicted of killing a Mooresville man in 2000 after a night out. They then fled to Texas, and killed killed an off-duty sheriff's deputy in San Antonio before moving on to California.
The pair was finally arrested after a shootout with police.Maxwell is scheduled to die by lethal injection. He'll be the fourth prisoner executed in Texas this year.
