A new $44 million facility at Fort Benjamin Harrison will help soldiers get ready for deployment more efficiently.

A ground breaking ceremony was held at the facility Friday.

The facility will combine operations for the Army, Marine Corps and Navy reserves. They will oversee training facilities in seven states that prepare service members before they deploy.

The new facility should be up and running by the spring of 2014.
