MISHAWAKA -- Mishawaka police say a man fitting the description of a suspect in a bank robbery on Edison Lake Parkway on the 10th robbed a bank today on McKinley Ave.
He threatened to shoot a teller if she handed him a dye pack, say police. She did it anyway and it exploded outside the bank.

Suspect: Male white Approx: 5'10" 180 Lbs., dark hat with a design on front, dark Hoodie jacket, jean shorts, and dark color shoes.
Amount taken from bank: $ undetermined at this time.
On 06/19/2013@ approximately 10:53 AM, the 1st Source Bank located at 405 E. McKinley Ave was robbed by an unknown male white, who implied he was armed. The suspect approached one of the tellers and demanded money from the drawer. During the incident the suspect threatens to shoot the teller if she handed him the dye pack. The teller handed the suspect the money and the suspect fled the bank. While en route to a getaway car parked nearby, the dye pack the teller handed the suspect exploded just outside the bank. The suspect dropped the bag and headed to an unknown vehicle parked nearby the bank.
Mishawaka police officer arriving at the scene was unsuccessful in capturing the suspect.
At this time Mishawaka Police Detectives are investigating this crime and are asking everyone with information to call the Detective Bureau at 574-258-1684 or Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
Mishawaka Detectives are still continuing to investigate a bank robbery that occurred at the AAA Credit Union (3630 Edison Lake Parkway) on 6/10/2013 at 9:27 AM. The suspect in that case fits the same description of today's Bank Robbery at 1st Source Bank.
