Democrat Rob Teplitz beating Republican John McNally for the 15th District State Senate seat Tuesday night. With 96% of the precincts reporting, Teplitz winning 53% of the vote. Both men are attorneys. Teplitz, works for the Government where he's chief counselor and policy director for Auditor General Jack Wagner. McNally, works for a private law firm.

" I spent my career with my sleeves rolled up knee deep in issues trying to solve problems and making things work in government," says Teplitz
" We've put our record out there we've told our story kept it straight. We told folks what they wanted to hear, what they''ve needed to hear," says McNally
Teplitz giving his victory speech at the Midtown Scholar Bookstore in Harrisburg,
" This has been a very positive experience for us and I'm just so happy that I can play a small roll in trying to move this community forward and I just can't wait to hit the ground running it's such an honor to have people have faith in us like that, " says Teplitz
He also asked supporters not to call him Senator, and to hold him accountable over the next few years.
