YORK CITY--—UPDATE: A fourth shooting victim has been identified after a violent night in York City. Police say Jose Roman, 38, of York did not realize he had been shot on East Maple Street until hours later. Roman told police he was in that area when several gunshots went off and didn't notice he had been shot until he got home. Roman drove to York Hospital with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and foot. He is listed in stable condition.
A violent night in York City after gunfire erupts and sends three men to the hospital. Police tell FOX43 News that there were three separate shootings overnight and they are actively searching for suspects.
The first happened around 3:45 a.m. in the 700 block of South Pershing Avenue. An unidentified male showed up at York Hospital saying he had been shot in the leg. He has since been released.
Forty-five minutes later police were called to the 400 block of West Clark Avenue. The male victim told police he had been walking in that area when he was approached by a man who robbed and shot him three times. The victim sustained wounds to his right side, left arm and left leg. He was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.
Around 5:15 a.m. another shooting broke out, this time in the first block of East Maple Street. When police arrived on the scene a man was laying in the street with a gunshot wound to his chest and bicep. He was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.
