With hundreds of residents still waiting for electrical power to be restored, the American Red Cross is opening "warming shelters" throughout the region.

Cumberland County

The Red cross is opening a warming station at Mt. Holly United Methodist Church, 202 Butler st. in Mt. Holly Springs from 5-9 PM Showers are available at the Carlisle YMCA from 3-8 PM and the Camp Hill YMCA from 5-9:30 PM

Dauphin County

The Red Cross will open 2 additional shelters to serve individuals experiencing extended power outages. The locations are as follows:

Dauphin County: First Alliance Church 403 South Progress Avenue Harrisburg, PA

Lebanon County: Lebanon Valley Expo Center 80 Rocherty Road Lebanon, PA

Additionally, the shelter in York County remains open at Central York High School 601 Mundis Mill Road York, PA

The American Red Cross serving South Central Pennsylvania will continue to work with the Emergency Management Authorities in the counties we serve to determine additional response to the early snowstrom and the resulting loss of electricity.
