The Ravens defense was ferocious on Thanksgiving Night, gobbling up San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Alex Smith like he was a turkey leg on their holiday plate. Baltimore sacked Smith nine times and harassed him the times they didn't throw him to the ground. Older brother John Harbaugh earned bragging rights in the Harbaugh Bowl as his Ravens defeated younger brother Jim's 49ers 16-6. It's the first time brothers have been on opposite sides of an NFL game as head coaches.

Baltimore scored the game's only touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter. Ravens QB Joe Flacco hit tight end Dennis Pitta on 3rd and goal to break a 6-6 tie. From there, the Ravens defense took over and nailed down the team's sixth home victory in six tries. Linebacker Terrell Suggs had three sacks in the game.

Baltimore is now 8-3 on the season. They get a well-deserved rest before traveling to Cleveland to face the Browns on Sunday, December 4th.
