Company officials confirmed they stopped by sites in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Shelbyville, Kentucky and several other sites. On Thursday, officials stopped by another potential move, in Shelbyville, Indiana, near Indianapolis.
Officials say the visits are part of a study to determine whether the plant in Springettsbury Township, York County is cost effective to keep open. The result on the study is expected to be released in September.
Around 2,400 jobs could be lost, if the plant in York County closes.
