Penn State University says Assistant Football Coach Mike McQueary will not be on the sidelines at the Nebraska game on Saturday. Intermin President Dr. Rodney Erickson announced during a late Friday afternoon newsconference that McQueary has been put on administrative leave by the University.

Thursday night the Athletic Department released the following statement:

"Due to multiple threats made against Assisant Coach Mike McQueary, the University has decided it would be in the best interest of all for Assisant Coach McQueary not to be in attendance at Saturday's Nebraska game."

It was McQueary. at the time a 28 year old graduate assisant, who witnessed former football defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky sexually assaulting a young boy in a shower at the student athletic building in 2002. McQueary told his father and then the next day told Coach Joe Paterno about the incident. Critics say that McQueary should have done more.
