MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER COUNTY—A new business is helping to inflate the economy in Lancaster County. That BOUNCE Place has opened up along Granite Run Drive in Manheim Township.
That BOUNCE Place is an indoor inflatable amusement park. It has everything from giant slides and obstacle courses to arcade games.
"It is wonderful to see the kids just having fun and smiling and they don't want to leave, they enjoy just being a kid and that is what it is all about," said Debra Hatfield, manager.
Larry Barnes and his brother own, That BOUNCE Place. Once they decided to open up shop, it took about 4 months to get everything blown up and ready to go.
"This is a well known area and we feel we are a good fit, there is nothing like this in this county and we thought this would be a good place to open one up," said Barnes, owner.
The place isn't just about fun and games; it is providing a boost to the community. Already 3 employees have been hired and the owner is looking for at least 9 more.
"We have ride attendant jobs and hostesses for the birthday parties, we are open every day from 10 AM until 9 PM, so we need folks during the day and also in the evenings, we're very weekend intensive," said Barnes.
