HARRISBURG—A man stabbed multiple times Sunday afternoon is Harrisburg's 3rd homicide victim of 2010. It happened on the 1900 block of Rudy Road around 2pm yesterday. Police were called to a home there for a reported stabbing.
When they arrived, they were met outside the home by Harrison Purdy, who had a wound to the chest. Another man, 56 year-old Donald Livingston was found just inside the door to the home. Livingston was dead, and had been stabbed several times. Police say Purdy's wound was self-inflicted.
At about 1405 hrs. police were dispatched to a home in the 1900 block of Rudy Rd. on a report of a stabbing with one man down and another also injured. Responding officers were met by Harrison Purdy who was standing outside the home. He had a single puncture wound to the chest. The other man, Donald Livingston, was found, deceased, just inside the door to the home. He had multiple stab wounds.
Apparently, Purdy and Livingston got into a violent argument in which Livingston was stabbed and cut numerous times. The men were reportedly friends for quite some time. .
