A Dauphin County girl is giving back to women affected by domestic violence .She has collected over 500 cell phones to donate to Verizon Wireless's Hopeline. 15-year old Siara Kothari is taking after her sister and her Mom. Together, they have collected over 2,000 used cell phones for Hopeline. The program, donates the cell phones to women affected by domestic violence .

" It`s a really great cause and it`s an important issue and these women are treated really horribly," says Siara Kothari

Wednesday night, Siara being honored for those 500 cell phones she collected herself .

"They need a lifeline to get help and girls our age should know what`s out there and what can happen, " says Kothari
