Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an early morning fatal crash in Dauphin County. At around 1:30 a.m., the driver was traveling east on Mountain Road in East Hanover Township when they traveled off the side of the road, struck an embankment and continued into a nearby tree.

The car bounced off the tree and caught fire. Rescue crews put out the fire but were unable to save the driver. The investigation is ongoing while police wait for the Dauphin County Coroner to identify the victim.
