One person is dead after a Friday morning crash in Dauphin County. Police say the crash happened just after 8:00 a.m. at 459 South Deodate Road in Londonderry Township.

Police say a female driver lost control of her vehicle while making a turn, hit two mailboxes and then struck a tree.

Police say the driver died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

Police say a passenger was taken to Hershey Medical condition in serious condition.
