UPDATE: 4:33pm 12-7-11 Pennsylvania State Police released the names of the three children who died in a fatal crash in Lancaster County on Monday afternoon. Twins, 16 year old Kyle and Jordan Martin, along with their sister nine year old Joelyn were all pronounced dead at the scene by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office. All three were seatbelted passengers in a 1997 Subaru Impreza that crashed into a 2008 Toyota Prius in the area of 2199 Lebanon Road, Route 72, in Rapho Township.

Investigators say that Kyle Martin was behind the wheel of the southbound Subaru, when he lost control on a curve and slammed into the northbound Prius. The driver of that vehicle, 48 year old Elizabeth Garrett is listed in good condition at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

UPDATE: 9:38pm The PA State Police responded to and investigated a two-vehicle crash occurring on Lebanon Road in Rapho Twp., Lancaster County. As a result. (3) juveniles died as a result of injuries sustained from the crash.

The car (Subaru Impreza) was negotiating a left curve in the roadway traveling southbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle and traveled into the northbound lane impacting another vehicle (Toyota Prius) traveling northbound.

Lancaster County Coroner's Office pronounced the deceased at the scene. Names have not been released but the ages of the (3) juveniles are two males, 16-years-old and one female, 9-years-old. The driver of the Toyota, Elizabeth Garrett from Lebanon, PA was transpoted to Hershey Medical Center for moderate injuries.

Rt72 was shut down in both directions for 5 hours while the investigation was conducted.


UPDATE: 7:07pm FOX43 News has learned that three siblings were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Rapho Township, Lancaster County. Authorities say the two 16-year-old twins and their younger sister, 12-years-old live in the Manheim area but are not students in the Manheim Central School District.

ORIGINAL: 6:00pm Police and emergency personnel are on the scene of a two-vehicle accident in Rapho Twp., Lancaster County. The coroner has been called to the scene.

The accident happened just before 3 p.m. in the area of Lebanon Road and Mount Hope Road. Route 72 is closed between East Mount Hope and Mountain roads.
