A Harrisburg man was killed early Sunday morning when a tree fall on the tent he was sleeping in. The tragic accident happned at around 5:30 am at a camp ground in the area of McClean road and Route 443 in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County. Pennsylvania State Police say that 59 year old Walter Bruder was killed instantly when the tree fell onto his tent.

The tree was brought down by winds. A female companion was also sleeping in the tent. 56 year old Diane Hoffman, also of Harrisburg, suffered a fractured skull as well as other injuries. She was taken to Hershey Medical Center. The couple was among a group of 20 people camping on private property.
