LONDONDERRY TOWNSHIP, DAUPHIN COUNTY—An intensive manhunt for Lancaster County fugitive, 42 year old Dwayne Weir is over. Pennsylvania State Police say that Weir was taken into custody without incident at around 8 Monday evening in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County. Weir had been on the lam for over two weeks. He was originally wanted on burglar and aggravated assault charges.
Susquehanna Regional police filed additional feloney charges against fugitive Weir as a result of his escape from an East Donegal Township apartment two weeks ago. .
Those charges include Burglary, Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Escape, Criminal Trespass, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property ( Possession of a Stolen Vehicle) and Driving on a Suspended License.
Police have already made two other arrests in the case. Weir's son Dwayne Charles Weir was charged with aiding and abetting his father and Weir's girlfriend, 20 year old Violet Martin was arrested for receiving stolen property.
