The developer of the abandoned Harrisburg Capital View Commerce Center pleads guilty in federal court to the misappropriation of funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and money laundering. 43 year old David Dodd, II, of Mechanicsburg faces 30 years in prison, a fine of $750,000 and probation. As part of a plea agreement Dodd must forfeit $1,151,037 seized from six Wells Fargo brokerage accounts, a 2008 BMW X5, a 2008 Mercedes Benz E350W4 and $58,041 in cash.

Dodd also agreed to make restitution to victims of the crimes he pled guilty to as well as the victims of the charges that will be dismissed as part of the agreement.
