Power is back for thousands of Met-Ed customers in York County after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, killing the driver. It happened around 7:50 p.m. on Saturday night along East Prospect Road near Manor Road in Lower Windsor Township.

Laurianne Bailey, 42, was killed when the vehicle she was driving hit a utility pole, according to the York County Coroner. About 2,500 Met-Ed customers were initially affected by a power outage caused by the crash along East Prospect Road. Met-Ed has since restored power to all of the affected customers.

Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene. The York County Coroner says she was not wearing a seatbelt.

Lower Windsor Township Police are investigating.
