Not only are they the best team in class "AAA" this year, they may be the best team ever to take the field in a PIAA "AAA" state championship game. Archbishop Wood from Bucks County blanks Bishop McDevitt on the turf at Hersheypark Stadium 52-0. The Crusaders had no shot against a team loaded with Division I prospects. They were down 31-0 at the half and after an interception return for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter, the mercy rule was in effect with a running clock the rest of the way.

This is the second straight year Bishop McDevitt has made it to the "AAA" finals. They lost by one point to Allentown Central Catholic in 2010. Archbishop Wood beat the defending champs 70-14 in the semifinals last week.
