MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY—A small amount of snow is falling across the area, causing some wet roads and school delays. The snow, no more then two inches at the deepest, started around midnight in the western part of the viewing area and continued for a few hours.
At this point, it appears most of the heavy stuff has moved away to the east. Areas in the Susquehanna Valley picking up between a dusting to two inches. The snow has not had much impact on the morning commute. It appears drivers are making their way without much difficulty. There have been a great amount of minor accidents then normal.
PennDOT in York County has been on full staffing since 4 a.m. They have 55 trucks out surveying the snow and spreading salt to try and make the commute smooth.
