A passerby confronted Jenkins, and he walked away. The victim was also able to get away.
Jenkins was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with Aggravated Assault, Attempted Rape and Unlawful Restraint. He was sent to the Dauphin County Prison in lieu of bail. Police would like to talk to any other women who may have been victimized by Jenkins. It was noted that Jenkins frequented bars in the Midtown area and may have socialized with other women.
