Barry Stumpf is the director of the Finefrock & Stumpf Golden Gloves Center in Lancaster. Stumpf draws from his own experiences both in and out of the ring to help teach struggling kids to face life's challenges.

The program Stumpf has developed uses boxing as a foundation to educate, develop and improve the skills necessary to lead a healthy, productive life. Whether its coaching kids on problems at school, getting them into shape, or training a future champ, Stumpf and his faithful dog Rocky are always there for Lancaster's youth.

There are currently 25 children enrolled in the program. Children 11 and up can participate. They must have parental permission, and be in school maintaining passing grades. They can also be part of a GED program.

Barry is a Level 4 Olympic Certified Coach. They also offer tutoring. They are open five nights a week and Saturday afternoons.
