A Long Island woman was arrested for driving drunk and killing two passengers inside her vehicle early Thursday morning, Suffolk County police said.

Taylor Nolte, 19, of Centereach, was driving her 1997 Lexus LX 400 north on Wilson Boulevard in Central Isllip at 4:45 a.m. when she lost control of the car near Apple Street and slammed into a pine tree. The car then struck another tree, just south of Banana Street, police said.

Kenyen Gaskins, 23, of Central Islip and Kelly Mallazzo, 18, of Hauppauge, were killed in the crash. Gaskin was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office. Mallazzo was rushed to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where she was later pronounced dead.

Two other men inside the car, ages 20 and 25, were taken to Southside Hospital with serious internal injuries.

Nolte was charged with driving while intoxicated. She was admitted to Southside Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip upon her release from the hospital.
